If you’ve travelled to San Francisco at all lately, you’ll know that not only have the prices of houses, food and entertainment risen but so too has the cost of getting around the bay. And while San Francisco has plenty of travel options, they’re not all well-suited if you’re going to be making a lot of small trips in one day.
Enter Scoot (www.scoot.co) San Francisco’s now well-established scooter rental service. With a massive fleet of electric scooters all over San Francisco, Scoot’s membership options make it possible for San Francisco residents with a full driving license to rent an electric scooter whenever they need one. Visitors to San Francisco, while not eligible for some of Scoot’s membership packages, can opt to purchase a day-pass for the service, granting them unlimited rentals for one day.
With insurance, training and even crash helmets all included, Scoot might sound like a fun way to get around town. But is it a good choice or not?
