Lisa Gade introduces you to an interesting new concept- commercialized P2P cloud storage. This technology is potentially more secure from hackers, snooping governments and unhappy accidents at data centers. Your files are stored on a decentralized network of computers in bits and pieces with end-to-end encryption. Forgot to password a file? No worries because only small, unreadable portions of it are located at a given location. It’s Powered by X Core and a virtual currency called INXT (yes, you can make money storing those bits and bytes for other folks). The service is compatible with PCs and Macs and iOS and Android are coming. It’s entering beta in Q3 of 2018, and you can sign up here (both for X Cloud sharing and for making passive income storing files via X Core): https://internxt.com/cloud .
Note that this is not a review since the service isn’t yet available- it’s an awareness / intro video that was sponsored by Internxt, but they did not have any control over what I said.
